This is my Grandpa Ralph. He was the cornerstone of our family.

As a farmer in Iowa, his work ethic and faith shaped the values of our family.

Still to this day, as a business owner, I know the foundation came from him and even generations before him.

His faith is a core value we teach our children daily. He also gave me my interest in photography.

While in college, I was honored to shoot this portrait of him on my medium format camera, and then develop the film and prints myself. It was around 2001 or 2002.

Quite the legacy he gave me. One of my most cherished gifts in life.
