Riding in “The Odyssey” with my Dad. This must have been 1981, and I’m pretty sure I’m about seven years-old.

I learned to drive in this crazy vehicle; it was the best gift I ever received, despite the fact I could rarely pull start it myself.

My Dad used to take me to all the BLM land around Napa County. We’d spend hours blasting down old mining roads.
