An Early Selfie, taken by my Grandpa and His Friends in a Photo Booth
I was cleaning up my iPad and found these gems. My grandpa Lee (the handsome man in the top squares), his sisters and some friends when they were teenagers in the 1930s.
The girl next to my grandpa is NOT my grandma, but was IN LOVE with my grandpa. Can you blame her? My Mom tells me that my grandma, even years later, would talk about how this girl loved grandpa!
I absolutely love these pictures because they show us that teens then weren’t much different from teens today. These pictures were taken almost 80 years ago and they were essentially taking selfies! How hilarious is that? Even though times change, kids don’t. ~shared by @sapphire314
