My grandmother, Agnes Fay, and her twin sister, Gussie May – known as Fay and May.

They were born 100 years ago on April 21, 1915 in Coleman, Texas.

From what I know and remember about them, they were more than twin sisters. They were best friends.

They shared the sweetest bond, dressing alike from head to toe well into adulthood. They were even buried in matching dresses, although their deaths were about 15 years apart.

I lost my FayFay when I was six years old, but I’ve always felt such a closeness to her. I hear I get my sentimentality from her, which has proved to be the sweetest gift. ~shared by @redbuddesigns
