What we unearthed when we started scanning all of our old family photos
So far this year, my family has celebrated a 16th, 21st, 25th and 50th birthday and a 25th, 30th and 60th wedding anniversary.
Now we celebrate the first of two 80th birthdays happening this summer. It’s a very special one: my Mom’s!
As part of this milestone celebration, we digitized Mom and Dad’s 8mm movies and Kodachrome slides. We have unearthed so many treasures.
Here is the lovely Birthday Girl, in a picture taken by my dad in 1962, in front of the new house they were building in Wichita, Kansas.
Happy 80th birthday, Mom. I love you. ~shared by @ttwoodard
