Let’s Throwback to Mother’s Days of Years Gone By
Some may see an old photo, faded, grainy, showing signs of age.
We see a story.
This weekend is Mother’s Day and I want to start it off by sharing this photo of my Grandma Merlynn, who is pictured here walking with 3 of my uncles towards The Great Salt Lake for a swim/float.
She had 8 children: 6 boys and 2 girls. One of them grew up to become my mother! She never complained a day in her life.
She lived with my dear grandpa in Paris, South Africa, Borneo, Canada, and Iowa, but spent the majority of her life in Tooele and Provo, Utah.
She was beautiful, strong, and confident.
She died a few years ago and I miss her all the time, she was the only grandma I ever really knew.
So this weekend I celebrate her (and my own wonderful mother, (her daughter) along with all of the other amazing women in my life!) and know she is still with me every day. ~shared by @mylittlebelleville
