My mother, a grand lady in so many subtle ways.

Mary Locke Davis Swayngim, 5-13-30 to 5-4-2014.

She was our matriarch and here she is before she married the love of her life, a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, Don. They met in Albuquerque, NM. She was a graduating co-ed from UNM, he was on duty as a young engineer working secret projects around atomic bombs. They remained true loves for over 60 years.

Don lives on still at 87, looking forward to seeing his love, Mary Locke, one day as she is waiting for him under the apple tree. She promised to not sit under the apple tree with anyone else but him.
